The blue eyes of Tarian Mareick could stop a train in its tracks. Pale, solemn, wise, yet beautiful could describe only a fraction of what you see, for how could over three-hundred years of experience be described in a couple of words? His pale face is elegant and graceful, with an understanding to it that few can attest to. Most people find themselves pouring out their heart to him and never know why. Perhaps it is his caring manner, his gentle figure, or his handsome features. Few know and few can put a finger on his charm. All they know is that he stays in their mind as a wonderful memory for the rest of their life. He appears to be in his mid twenties and it is a form that will never change.

This is a form that Tarian spends most of his time in. He treads across the land with soft steps and tends to those who need his gentle words. Because he is only seen by those who have accepted death, he usually goes unnoticed. This is a good thing considering he is a fearsome sight. Scaly wings with some tears in them sprout from his back. His dragon-like head is black and angled. Tarian seems more like a death angel's horse than anything comforting with his skeletal like figure. In contrast to his human figure everything about him seems sharp, worn, and beaten. Few people, out of those who see him, realize that he is a lot different that the way he looks. Those are rewarded with a friendship.
Some may not see a horse as a very threatening creature, but looks are deceiving. His hooves are rock solid and can be very powerful. Also his teeth, unlike a normal horses, are closer to fangs than rounded teeth. Also his wings are very powerful.

IF you ever have the pleasure of meeting Tarian you may be surprised. He tends to have a gentle and caring nature. But this isn't a naive caring, but rather one that can look at all angles of the situation and see your view and your reasons, making him understanding. It seems like he can control everything and to see him out of sorts is rare. Everyone has their flaws and anger usually bursts forth with someone being disrespectful to the dead, refuses his words, or picks on him a little to much. Sometimes he has trouble knowing the reason for fun. After all he is always dealing with people who have dealt with death, little fun has been introduced to his system. Lastly his mane and tail hold magical properties and are highly sought over.
