Ji wasn't exactly fond of the idea of going into the small, slightly rank smelling shop. He sighed as he entered wearing his outfit of black Chinese flats, white pants and a red, gold trimmed Chinese martial arts shirt. His nose began to twitch as he walked farther into the shop. He seemed to squirm some as he saw there were little creatures pickled in bottles or looked to have something living in it. He finally reached the area with the plant based potions and materials. He was in search of dried feverfew, Juniper berries, and hawthorn. He tried his best to search the shelves but was having issues with his eyes beginning to itch. Apperently he was a stone lion with an allergy to some plants and dust. His nose began to twitch as he found a bottle of dried Juniper berries before his girl like sneeze tore though the rather silent shop. He tried his best to ignore it as he kept up his search, sniffling every so often.

It took a moment or two for Ivy to realize what kind of shop she was in, though that wasn't unusual for her. There was nothing to do in this damn town, so she amused herself by making fun of the freaks that lived here and then slipping, unnoticed, into random shops and houses to avoid detection, just in case they got angry. Though it didn't seem like it was possible for people here to get angry, much less get into a fight, it never hurt to be cautious.
Now that she was certain that this was one of those weird magic stores, she had begun to rummage around on the shelves, picking up whatever caught her interest only to carelessly toss it aside. An enchanted amulet? Seen it. Shrunken heads? Gross. A... Was that a baby?
As she held a certain jar inches from her face, trying to learn of its contents, she could hear someone further back in the store who appeared to be having trouble with allergies of some sort. A moment or two later, she decided that she was curious enough to go take a look. So she slid the jar back onto the shelf and went slinking off further into the shop.
Along the way, she noticed what appeared to be incense burning, and she stopped for a moment to watch it.
You should set this place ablaze.
"Hmm."
You like fire, yes? It only makes sense then. It will be fun...
He did have a point, but something told her that the folks here wouldn't enjoy the fire as much as she would. Hell, she'd probably have a better chance of getting away with it in Sol. Although she recalled one time that Cap'n said that he didn't like fire. Well, he shouldn't mind too much. It's not like she'd try to burn down his bar. Probably.
She came across the strangely-dressed freak browsing the shelves, sniffling all the while. Sliding up to a shelf right next to him, she picked up a jar that appeared to contain a bunch of work-like tails from some sort of reptile, all intertwined together. She turned it over in her hands, though she quickly lost interest.
"Dusty, eh? Mus' be some unspoken rule that wherever there's a creepy, lil' magic shop, s'gotta be covered in dust."
Shrugging, she set the jar back on the shelf, scanning the rest of it to see if there was anything more interesting, and perhaps it would be more interesting if she knew even a little bit about magic and potions beyond the few spells she had.
Burn it to the ground!
"Ya wouldn't happen t'know if there's anythin' I can take to get rid of an annoyin' lil' voice, would ya?"

he looked up in surprise as he was addressed by this woman that seemed to appear out of no where. he smiled kindly at her before nodding at her comment. "I normally don't come into shops such as these so i guess s-*achoo* so. excuse me for that." he had covered his face as to stop from sneezing on her and the potions as she brought up something that could silent voices in the mind. he thought for a moment before finding a small vile of nightshade pulp. "If you put a small of the nightshade in a tea made of chamomile it should help at least suppress it. it should at least clear your mind and relieve stress for you." he then gave a smile once more and a soft gaze. he went back to searching the shelves trying to find dried feverfew.

Not much surprised Ivy anymore. Chatting it up with deities, being told to go kill children, and being raised from the dead really left a person unmoved by a lot. Although, a guy who didn't mind that the person he was talking to was admittedly crazy did cause her to pause and stare at him for just a moment.
Then it was over, as she took the vial and examined it from all angles. With a smile, she waved it in front of her face for the voice to see... If he could see. He acted like he could, so he must, like, be able to see out of her eyes or something. Maybe he was omniscient... Eh, whatever.
"See that, Beastie? I'm stronger than you."
Fool... Oh, don't let him escape! Set him on fire first! He can be a torch!
"People never burn like you want 'em to," She pointed out, following him as he continued searching the shelves.
He seemed to know what he was doing, unlike her, who had essentially just wandered in off of the streets. Magic and potions and stuff had never been her forte. That wasn't to say she wasn't good with magic. Quite the opposite, actually. Especially with fire. She made a fire like it was nobody's business. However, she was never good at knowing when to use it or how to use it to her advantage. Mostly, she just used it to light a cigarette or light a building, or to serve as a distraction during a fight.
"Whatcha lookin' for? Gonna make a magic bomb? That'd be ****in' sweet."
That would be sweet, though she didn't care enough to stick around and watch. She'd probably end up wandering out of the shop and down another road, possibly into another strange shop, unless he got more interesting or something else interesting caught her attention. Hey, she got bored when she was unemployed.

He looked to her and gave a dear in the headlights expression when she asked if he was making an explosive. As he picked up the bottle of feverfew he stood upright and gave a genlt smile as he explained. "Heavens no. my magic is more for healing and defense. This little potion im working on is for sleep to get my twin to finally rest for a while." he then stepped back some, seeming to trip over air. he fell with a squeak as various plants fell onto him in a loud clatter. The smell of the mixing plants finally got to him and with a loud sneeze, turned into his lion form. He somehow was still able to fit in the narrow area but just barely. Gold eyes looked embarrassed as he tried his best to stand up and change back, only it didnt seem to work too well as the magical plants mixed and mingled with his fur. he was finally able to turn back, but ended up being a sniffling, sneezing mess with golden brown eyes. he dusted himself off and had a blush on his face from embarrassment. "Sorry about that... I'm a bit clumsy as you can t-*achoo*tell..." he then realized all the plants he had needed were scattered on the floor and needed to be put back in their proper bottles. he then sighed and began to clean up his disaster.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,470,true] | [bg=655064] As it so often happens with Coyle, he was roaming about randomly. Oh, he still was. Just because he was here did not mean his frivolous quest had been terminated. In fact it had just begun - this morning. Or was it last morning? So hard to tell... all there was to guess the time was light and dark, and that's not so easily noticeable as you'd think.
Overall, he'd say he'd started today. Definitely today. Last week..?
Well whatever. It have been a while. And he was still bored, he might add. So chancing upon a group of people in a store full of funny looking objects was something to stare at - yes... he could work with this. Not sogood at noticing the new stuff around this island thingy. Not that he minded the move - it left more places to be discovered; not to mention those beasies out in the wild were fun to mess with.
So Coyle paused, although his quest had not stopped. He held the form of a black cat - actually more of a shadow, really. The silhouetted creature perched on top of one of the many articles in the store - and in the spooky spirit - he hissed.
"Boo!"
Hey, he wasn't much for this time stuff, but when there was candy and funny costumes involved he was there.
"Ssssso what bringssss you here?"
Little knowing that instead of making an appropriate "cat" voice he was making a "snake" voice. Ah well. Small details. While he was at it, he also noticed what he was standing on - a severed head. Now he wasn't squeamish, but the hair hadn't been conditioned in a while and let's just say lice like corpses too.
The black cat screeched and with an odd flightlike motion very unlike a cat it flew from the head to a shelf. There, less lice.
"Ergh I already hate thisssss place." the cat/snake snarled.

As soon as he admitted to not making an explosive, she stopped following him in favor of leaning against one of the flimsy, old shelves. She tossed the vial carelessly back onto a shelf and instead brought a larger jar closer to her, examining what looked appeared to be a disfigured head. She was thoroughly bored now, having no interest whatsoever in sleeping droughts. Although this twin may be fun to hang out with.
As she thought about this, she heard a rather large crash close by, though she remained staring at the jar. She turned it this way and that, bringing it closer and pushing it back, even going so far as to sniff at the concoction through the glass. Finally, she pushed it away, watching after it for a moment before nodding to herself.
"I do believe that was a head."
Having said that, she turned away in time to notice a large lion in the area beside her moments before it turned human again. She merely shrugged at this, chalking it up to the perpetual weirdness that covered this place. She stepped forward, placing her back against a shelf and sliding down to a squatting position on the floor as she watched him clean up his mess. It actually did occur to her that she could be nice and offer to help, but then he might say yes and she wasn't about to touch any of that old, strange medicine.
She heard the voice before she saw where it came from. Actually, she heard the voice without seeing where it came from at all. However, it asked a question and it was only polite to give a response, no matter who was asking it. It could just be a disembodied voice for all she cared. They were all freaks there anyway.
"Twin A is making a bomb," She explained, gesturing toward her new friend whose name she had yet to learn. Not that that would have made much of a difference either.

Ji sighed in what would have been thought of as annoyence when the woman said he was making a bomb to the shadowed cat atop one of the shelves. he had picked up most of the plants and finally looked at the woman. "As I told you before, its to help my sister sleep. Its like a dragon has decided to rampage through our home when she doesn't get her sleep." the last but was slightly more hushed but he still kept his always pleasant expression. he then looked up to the shadowed cat with a cheery smile. "Why hello there. Care to join us here on ground level in a more human shape? Some rather nasty things are known to crawl atop those shelves worse than severed heads." he then counted his bottles of plants when he realized something. he then with an embarrassed expression looked to both of them and with a seemingly apologetic tone stated his name. "Oh how rude of me! My name is Ji. May i have your names?" he was still being humble as always.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,470,true] | [bg=655064] The cat's head swiveled towards what was speaking to him. What was it? Smelled like stone. Not that he really cared, but it was interesting to see what these creatures were... and they were new too!
New had the possibility of being interesting. Thus they kept Coyle's attention. But when the new thing said something about taking his human form, the beast could only chuckle and make himself comfortable up on top of the shelf, tail swishing slightly in amusement.
"Yes... some pretty scary things do sit atop these shelves..." Coyle, having abandoned his idea of being spooky, simply replied with the syrupy sweet sound of his natural voice. "Luckily I'm one of them."
The black, shapeless mass of catlike material sprawled over on what looked to be its back. Still flicking its tail with a sense of pleased curiosity, it fixed he sickly green eyes on the new thing. Ji was it's name. Okay. Yes. He could see that. But there were more things here, and he knew only one of them - so in need of more than one small creature to play with the cat then involved himself with the others.
"Tell me, Ji, who are the other two?"
He hadn't said anything about his name. How silly that Ji should ask. Everyone knew who Coyle was! At least, this is what the beast thought of himself. Why wouldn't they? He was something that should be known. Feared too, but mostly known. And besides, names were unimportant.
The people to which the names belonged were much more interesting.

He quirked his head to the side for a moment as to think of the feline's statements. he still smiled as the cat asked of something. he had to take a moment to think as he connected the shadowed mass was asking of his sister. he gave one of his sweeter smiles as he best explained his evil yet lovable twin. "Jia-Li is my twin sister and as i had said before, is very irritable with out sleep. as for the young miss, i know nothing. i sorry if that didn't answer your question. you seem to word things oddly." if there was one thing about Ji you would learn quickly it was that he was completely honest. His sense of justice seemed to prevent him from lying to anyone, including total strangers. he started to count the bottles once more as he always needed to be occupied with something.
