The waterfalls could be heard at least a mile away, sunshine illuminated the entire valley where the Angelai falls sat pouring its rushing water down into the gulf to flow outward to the ocean. A small speck in the sky flew lazily down to the top of the waterfalls landing gracefully next to the start of the drop where the water fell. The grass surrounding the entire valley was as green as grass could get without looking fake, the drop seemed to be a good one hundred and fifty to two hundred feet high. Cassiel stood atop the falls looking down into the valley, his cold stern eyes surveying the scene around him.
The valley was beautiful in his eyes, almost but not quite close to the home he used to live. His own connection to his father was still shrouded and it seemed to him that the only way to recieve the revelations he was seeking was to die once more and rejoin the ranks in the holy land. But until then, he was free to do as he pleased until that time came. Being on earth for the amount of time that had passed he began to feel more human than anything else, his thoughts shifted easily and were as he could tell becoming more and more human every passing day. Though he could still use his powers and his strength hadnt dwindled, he knew he was doing the right thing just by these things he noted in himself.
He stood with the sun shining brightly over his head, no clouds in the sky offered a wonderful day to the people on this island. Cassiel's mind went back to his previous location, but he brushed aside the thought knowing it was no good remembering the past unless it was useful knowledge for the present. He crossed his arms and looked over the valley able to see a small part of the town to the west, his wings flexed without a thought as the wind brushed past him. He folded them into himself and sat down softly crossing his legs and slowly lowering himself into an indian style position on the grass next to the falls, he wouldnt take a trip into town until he felt it nessesary that he should. Letting his mind wander out, he sat in mediation. Unmoving as he was his senses still sharper than most, he continued to sit enjoying the sun and the sound of the falls.
