Human Appearance: green : olive : black - Illia/Ivy

Ivy has taken on Illia's appearance, with olive colored skin and bright, emerald eyes, one of her most distinctive features. However, Ivy has since cut and dyed her hair, so that it now only reaches to her chin and it is a dark blueish-black. She typically wears her hair straight down and it usually looks rather unkempt, as if her idea of brushing her hair is running her fingers through it a few times. Although due to it's shortness, it's rather easy for her to get away with that without too many people taking notice. Also much like Illia, Ivy almost always wears some sort of gemstones, either in a necklace or on a ring, but she tends to wear far too many. Though not very noticeable, Ivy has two, large fangs that look very much like a dog's canine teeth which can make her smile seem almost threatening.
True Appearance: red : silver : 7'8" - pic

Ivy's other form has silver fur with a dark gray mane. She has dark red eyes and long fangs that protrude much like a snake's fangs. Her head and torso are that of a lion while her hind legs appear to be from a horse. Horns of a mountain goat frame her head and her tongue is snake-like (or perhaps dragon-like). She has two black, tattered-looking wings that fit perfectly against her back and are often concealed by her fur. Despite their appearance, she is able to sustain flight. Her black tail is the serpentine body of a dragon known as a Nidhogg, and it has the same red eyes as the lion's head. The Nidhogg is much more sadistic in nature than Ivy is (See personality and bio. for more info).

Personality
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Ivy's very laid-back and passive, and has even been described as overly indifferent by some. Though she often seems lighthearted and playful, she won't hesitate to stab her “friends” in the back (literally <.<) if something was in it for her. She's all about herself and in the past she's simply worked for whoever offers her the most money, ignoring this abstract morality that people often preach to her about. She considers herself to be the best at whatever she does, and she lets everyone know that, often by means of her catchphrase, “Do you know who I am?” Because of her mainly lighthearted personality, most people are completely unaware that she'd lived a rather harsh life... By most people's standards. However, Ivy herself doesn't really acknowledge the difficulties she faced in her life. The matter-of-fact way in which she speaks about subjects as depressing as death shows how indifferent she can really be. Other than this, she has a somewhat sly air about her. This, coupled with her relative lack of emotion often make it difficult for people to guess just what she's thinking.
Ivy speaks in a distinct, slow, halting, drawling manner, which only exemplifies her easygoing nature. She also speaks very jokingly, often making sarcastic wisecracks. In addition, she tends to use quite a bit of foul language, though she uses it more as a means to annoy others rather than to convey a strong emotion. She may also seem absentminded at times, as she has a tendency to not finish her sentences or to abruptly change the subject while she or someone else is speaking, but in actuality, she is always calculating.
It is worth mentioning that the spirit of another creature inhabits Ivy's body as well. The vile creature, the Nidhogg, is able to speak to Ivy in her mind and is also able to speak to others capable of telepathy. While in Chimera form, he can control the snake-like head as well as physically speak. The Nidhogg is quite sadistic and always trying to goad Ivy into performing malicious deeds, though she usually shrugs these off as a minor annoyance.

Ivy's from a world that's... Well, like ours but different. For one, it has a medieval sort of feel to it, although during her time it was in the middle of an industrial revolution of sorts. Therefore, there were a few “modern conveniences” though they were still quite different from what our world contains. Oh, and did I mention that in her world mythical creatures are just that. Myths. The only otherworldly creatures stayed up in Heaven or in Hell where they belonged, minding their own business. For the most part.
Now, to understand just what the heck happened to Ivy in this world, and how she got here, you'll have to understand the religion of her world, and you should be just a little familiar with it already.
So, the basic beliefs of her religion? Evil's gonna win in the end, so the least you mortals can do is die with honor. Her world was, in all honesty, a pretty depressing place, and so this leads to a mentality that the best thing you can do with your life is to die a spectacular death. See, you don't get into heaven by being a good person and all that crap... No, nice guys get a one-way ticket straight to Nifleheim, the icy-cold dominion of the death goddess, Hel. But now, if you died standing up, with your eyes open, plunging your sword into the heart of your most hated enemy with your dying breath... Well, then the Valkyries would come for you and take your soul up to Valhalla. Yep, for them, Heaven is for heroes. Anyone who died a disgraceful death (Ya know... Like dying from a disease or old age or something) had no place in Valhalla.
It was a pretty messed up belief, but people lived by it. Well, most people. See, Ivy was agnostic. She couldn't – and wouldn't – understand why so many of her contemporaries were only living to die. So instead, she lived life precisely how she wanted to live... Working as a mercenary and gambling to feed her drug addictions but hey, at least she was happy. It was a rather dangerous life though, and she made a number of enemies. One of whom decided to end her life with a knife to the back. Ah, the irony...
One hundred years go by, Ivy's soul having been left to wander through the barren wasteland that is Nifleheim. Then, quite suddenly, and truly because of a simple series of coincidences, she is pulled from that Hell and brought into the world of man once again. Albeit into a different world. And body. Although, they didn't escape from Hell without a few "complications". For one, the sadistic creature known as the Níðhöggr (AKA the Nidhogg) inhabits Ivy's new body as well.
Now, being brought back from the dead has its own problems, but being brought into a different dimension at the same time creates an entirely new slew of problems. For one, although she is able to exist and interact in this world just like any other native creature, she was never really meant to be here. Thus she can act much like a ghost, phasing through solid objects and such. And so, Ivy lives, making a futile effort to appear as the girl whose body she now inhabits, though what they're supposed to be hiding from remains a mystery to her.
