Name:
Candace Sybyl Vloria.
But because she's not very fond of her first name and detests her second name, she's decided to go simply by Caddie. It sort of goes together with the Cheshire Cat thing, at least she thinks so.
Age:
Sixteen, almost seventeen.
Gender:
Female
Race:
Cheshire Cat
Human Appearance:
There's nothing quite normal about her appearance. Cheshire Cats are known to keep smiling and she's quite the ball of sunshine. She smiles and usually makes some sort of purring noise when others are around. It just seeps through her human facade. Caddie's very fond of color and refuses to keep her hair at a boring brown. Over the years she's died it various colors and is known to claim how she forgot the true color of her hair. This year it's pink. And this year she's taken to pastel colors instead of the loud colors of last year.
She adores anything frilly and colorful. Black and white and gray are just drab. Why so many people wear those colors goes beyond her. But she goes with the flow, never missing an opportunity to put her viewpoint in there. Just like her appearance, Caddie's very bubbly and outgoing.
Other Appearance:
Cheshire Cats are known to be big fluffy cats that float, and she comes with no new surprises. She's a simple cat you know, and her fur changes color because she dies her hair different colors. The markings remain the same though. And thus, imagine a normal tabby cat, perhaps a bit larger, with pink fur and black stripes. Even in this form she continuously smiles, vaporizes, and returns again. And that purr never leaves.
Trigger:
Water, as when it spills on her. Not even Cheshire cats like water. Dogs aren't her fancy either. Of course these aren't as bad as water, but if they decide to make a game of chasing her, well that's just no good now, is it?
Personality:
Caddie is very outgoing. Very outgoing. She knows no stranger and approaches anyone. Never one to judge by appearance, she even goes to those dressed in drab and without color. This does not mean they escape her thoughts, no, Caddie lets everyone know what she thinks. Naturally the Cheshire Cat comes across it nicely, or tries to without being offensive.
Like the tales of her species, Caddie enjoys a good prank or two, or three. She loves a good laugh and likes surprising people. Sneaking up on people in cat form is not above her either. All is in good fun though. Most people go along with it; the only thing bad about Caddie is that she can possibly push boundaries and get a little annoying. The most annoying thing she probably does is ignore personal space. There's no bubble when it comes to getting up in others' faces and smiling.
And she smiles, quite a bit. It's known that she purrs a lot too, even with her human appearance sheltering the cat hidden within. If she likes something, she'll start purring. Caddie is very fragile though. She doesn't want to harm anything, not even a dog even though they frighten her and make her hiss and puff up. When others hurt her just to be mean, well she takes everything like that personal even if it's a prank gone bad and she'll end up crying.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Cleanliness is a strength. She's clean all the time and hates getting too dirty. Even though she might seem like an airhead and probably is most of the time, Caddie can dig deep and say many philosophical things to enlighten others on their path. She's naturally a nurturing creature with a bit of mischief tossed in. Anyone frightened or sad should come to her and she does her best to make them feel better. She also loves baking!
As far as weaknesses go, well she hates seeing others hurt and refuses to fight. Knives are much too messy, swords are too heavy, so she likes the bow and arrow. She will carry that around and her aim is fairly good, but she won't use it on anything. If worse comes to worse she'll either cry, say she's sorry, beg for forgiveness, say what's on her mind, or change into cat form and dart around in the air. Only if she's mad will she stay and mock them in cat form and possibly land them a couple of slaps.
Character Traits/Flaws:
She's kind, wouldn't harm a dog even if it chased her up a tree; unless that dog was really trying to snap her neck. But even then killing is far too cruel a punishment. She happens to be a vegan, you know the strict sort of vegetarian who refuses to eat meat and use anything tested on animals. She loves animals.
Maybe her love is too far abound and maybe she gives everyone more credit than they deserve. Well, she does. She's a naive soul who wants to believe everyone's good at heart, even if they aren't. And because she wants to believe, she does, and surely no one would ever want to harm her in any way! Even if they do it must be on accident, right?
