It was dangerous to be out after dark. Dangerous to be out at all, but the darkness brought with it even more hazards. It made sense then, for the people to take refuge within their homes on this night. They might lock their doors, thinking that gave them security. They would tuck their children in, keeping them safe for yet another day. All lies, of course. The danger never went away.
However, despite the danger, amidst the tombstones there walked the lone, small figure of a child. His pace was slow, and he looked curiously at his environment, looking so terribly lost.
Although he wasn't lost. He knew exactly where he was going. Away from people.
People were bad. They all were. That's what they told him. They said he shouldn't listen to anything that the people said, so he didn't. They were smart, and he trusted them much more than anyone else. They were always nice to him too, and he felt safe with them. Not like with people. People could hurt you. They said so.
That was why they lead him here. It was always really quiet here. It was a place were they could just be alone together. When no one was paying attention, he would often run away to find a good, quiet place away from everyone else. It was then he learned that most people didn't like to come to this place. It looked like it scared them, but Czar couldn't understand why. To him, the towns that were so full of people were much scarier places.
People were... What was that word? Disgusting. Right, people were bad and gross and you shouldn't believe anything they said. Everyone was disgusting. Toka and Moss were disgusting. Even Circe was disgusting, but he would never tell her that. She'd find out later anyway.
All the while, Czar had been examining those strangely shaped stones that stuck out of the ground, not realizing that he wasn't alone until he was standing within feet of the people.
He froze, staring at them both. Although he was still unsure about how exactly they could be dangerous, he knew that being alone with two strange people was a bad thing. He could try to run away and find another, quiet place to go. Or, his friends told him, he could hurt them before they hurt him. They said that these people deserved to be hurt anyway. They're not even supposed be here right now.
Supposed to be dead.
"You're supposed to be dead," The whispered words were barely audible, and as soon as he realized he'd said them, he took a quick step back, catching a lock of hair in his hand and twisting it between his fingers. At the moment he was too frightened and confused to think about leaving at all. | |

Lyle let out a high squeak when he felt the presence of another being. it nearly made him bite his pinky to the point of bleeding but he ended up biting his cheek instead. it didnt bleed, making the boy's obsession remain at bay. he began to look around the graveyard with his dark eyes before seeing what appeared to be a child with light hair standing not far from them. his eyes went wide in surprise at seeing how young the boy was to be wondering alone like that. he wanted to step foreward but his own fear of people held him where he was. He crouched down closer to the child and tried to smile. he wasnt in touching reach so as he himself wouldnt panic. "H-hello. Are y-y-you lost?" he tried his best to have a warm expression but the fear was still bright in his eyes. This kid seemed so innocent to him and reminded him of himself when he was little, well minus the beatings and having a pack of wolves maim him.he looked like simple sweet innocence.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,470,true] | [bg=4e4e4e] The wolf quite expertly ignored whatever it was the boy had said. It could not possibly be that important, to be perfectly frank - which apparently he was being these days. Ah, how life changes...
What he did pay his oh so precious attention to though, was the creature that appeared. It was not something to be feared - which was one of the first things one must know, especially in such a place as this. It was a child, and it did not smell particularly threatening, though it did seem odd - the smell.
Something not quite one and not quite the other. Hybridized of some two other species, perhaps? But this did not matter. It was a child, and children tended to not be particularly dangerous. In fact the wolf quite fancied children, of course not in that way... Although it was true such small, innocent pieces of meat were easy prey, it had never occurred to him to take advantage of such things. It seemed wrong somehow, and rather than dispute this instinctual feeling that children should not be harmed, he obeyed it unquestioningly.
So he looked on the child with much interest, and with the purest of intentions in mind, he ceased to groom the blood form his paws and instead fixed his cold gray eyes on the child as it wandered, ears perked forward.
Dead? Oh dear... he'd hoped he wad not dead. But why should he be such an unpleasant thing as dead? It seemed preposterous, unless the child assumed that because they ere in a graveyard they must be either rotting or starved of that blood that kept them from doing so.
Both were wrong, of course - but it seemed quite hilarious to him that the boy would think this - if indeed he did.
Le Cyll's head tilted to the side curiously, but he did not say anything. The boy next to him had asked a question, and it seemed he need not waste the energy when the boy might ask his questions and Le Cyll might be hear to glean them from the conversation.
There was no need to speak. Just watch. And that is exactly what he did.
