Eventide kept digging in his pocket and then gave up on that one and went to the next. She answered Cecily absent-mindedly. "Just anything of value. Guys like this usually have more on them than they themselves are worth. But considering that this guy is worthless I won't be surprised if I find nothing. She was fishing in his side pocket when she pulled out a thin silver collar that looked like it would fit around a small childs wrist. It was very shiny and had a little charm with a diamond in it. Eventide's eyes widened. "Holy gold. I am so glad you had that potion now!" Eventide was completely giddy now. "I don't care if he is stupid, he's got shine! You don't have to be smart to be valuable." She then gave her friend a cocky look and then smiled. "I will always appreciate the fact that you can do something I can't until I can do it myself."
When she told him what he had to do, Damion just shook his head. "You did that on purpose didn't you?" He smiled at her, his icy eyes laughing at her. "You know that you've got me wrapped around your little finger, so you tell me to do the one thing that I can't! It's just not fair!" Damion put on a mock upset face. Then he sobered up, "Alright, I will try, but while I am working on that imperfection, don't ask me to be nice to that jerk back there. It is simply out of the question. One problem at a time and you have me working on the previous, so Zak is just gonna have to wait and hope and pray that he doesn't screw up."
"I wouldn't know what Miriel felt about her father seeing as how I haven't really known her that long." Jaedon lied straight to his face. She knew that Miriel had cared about her father, and she had known Miriel long enough to know that for a solid fact. When he mentioned her killing her parents, she barred her teeth at him and a low growl escaped her throat. "The only reason that assassins become assassins is because of their parents! Their parents make them who they are, all they can do in thanks is send them to reaper for collection, because they are no better than the assassins they made!" She had narrowed her eyes at Ares, "I was glad to give them a one way trip to hell. That is the only suitable place for them." Then when he mentioned being afraid, she smirked at him, loosening her haunches and flicking her tail. "Afraid, no... stupid, no... patient, yes."
Jaedon was done playing with words now, she started to move her pieces, for Ares had already taken his turn. He was purposely stepping on her toes, begging for a fight. She just let go of everything that told her to stop and opened her mind to the games before her. The first step was to offset Ares by infiltrating his mind. She pried her way through pretty quickly and then, like a quiet whisper, she persuaded his inner being to attack from the left when she came at him, telling him with an overwhelming power that she was going to pounce to that side. As she did, she set her traps, the same kind that she had used on Neron at the beach. They were surrounding Ares on the left and right, covering most all of the space. Then, when Jaedon was sure that she had planted the seed, she left Ares' mind for a while, sure to return later, keeping one foot in the door. She caem back to the real world and put her plan into play, jumping slightly to Ares' left and then, stalling, she changed her footing in the flash on a moment and jumped over Ares, sure to avoid her own traps. She was about to turn around and face Ares' again, waiting for hr trap to pierce him through when she heard a slight rushing sound... What was that? It was so faint that she thought she imagined it, but her acute senses told her that it was real. She had all of her skills back and she was able to tell that it was above her. She looked up, but her eyes didn't catch sight of the falling object fast enough to counter it.

"Yes, Yes, thank me after the chiding." Cecily shrugged at the trinket. "Though that is pretty. I wonder who it is for...Oh well. Let's break free of this little Popsicle stand...I don't want to be anywhere near this place. This cliff is so...open, I dislike it." She looked at Eventide. Her eyes gleamed, "I will make sure that you never ever learn then.I hate feeling unwanted." Cecily smirked and gave her hair a toss. Reaching down she repositioned her purse and stood up. Her hair gleamed like silver in the sunlight and she gazed around her with distaste. "You know, the sun here, to bright. Darkness is much to my liking."
---
Miriel smiled shyly at Damion. "Of course I am, though I'm sure that it will be the last time." Then with a little giggle she continues, "Life isn't fair...in most cases. As for dealing with Zak, I suppose I will have to let you slid." She laughed and turned her attention to the snow about her, "Oh, it's so beautiful!" She lifted her hands, letting the little snowflakes fall into her hands, but they melted quickly. " It's been a while since I have seen snow." With a smile filled with brightness she turned to Damion.
---
Neron fell from the sky like a bullet coming from the barrel of a gun. He had seen Ares start to jump to the Left. "Jaedon has a trap there, I know it. That's where I would put one if I had that power.[/b]" HE wasn't about to let his friend get the brunt of it and Ares, not knowing how to deal with such a thing would probably get hurt in the worst place possible. Just as Ares was leaping stright into the trap Neron struck, pushing Ares away but in the process tripping the trap himself. The landing was rough in itself, his shoulder was wounded from Jaedon's last trap, which still hadn't healed. Also his landing had been harder than usual due to his urgency. So he stumbled in a very ungraceful landing with wings wavering chaotically, trying to balance. He didn't have time to brace for the trap's bite.
---
Ares was shocked to find himself pushed away by a sudden and strong force. Out of nowhere a black dragon had appeared and shoved him out of harms way. When he recovered and shook his fur free of dirt and grime he observed his savior. "Neron?" He asked in disbelief. Where had he come from?

"Who cares who it is for, it's mine now. If he asks any more questions about it then I'll just kill him. What's one more soul to turn into a demon?" Eventide didn't usually talk like this, but since she knew that Cecily already had knowledge of what she would do, she went ahead and voiced it. It wasn't Eventides fault that people were curious. There was no way that she would return treasures either. Just wasn't in her nature. "Alright, the popsicle stand is blown. Personally I want to get away from here as fast as possible. One of those snoops from the cliff might come looking for the dummy." Eventide started to walk towards the end of the woods, leaving Cecily to follow her if she so desired.
"Yeah, I bet that you haven't seen snow in a while." Damion took another step towards Miriel, smiling as he did. "You melt it as quickly as it falls. You are to hot for simply the weather to control you." His blue eyes began to glow, looking quite white, and the snow began to fall hard and fast in big puffy white flakes. Just for Miriel's enjoyment he created a slight blizzard that would cover both of them in snow.
Jaedon ducked out of instinct when Neron went hurtling past her, and she quickly jumped out of the way and turned to face them, coming very closer to the edge of the cliff. She was aware of how close she was, and was being very careful with her footing, but knew that she needed to get out of the way in order to preserve herself in this fight. Stupid Neron, why did you do that? she thought to herself, and then verbally said, "Neron don't struggle!" That was the only way to keep Neron from getting hurt, but it was a little to late. Suddenly, the trap demanded her to chose where to hurt Neron. She was now miserable. Stupid, stupid, stupid...Should've just let the brute take his medicine. Without much of a choice, Jaedon chose his shoulder, the same one she had chosen the other day, knowing that it was better to reopen a wound than to cause a new one. She knew that right about now, Neron was feeling the same pain he had the other day. She didn't want to admit it to herself, but her cold heart was turned to ashes by this and it made her forget everything about the fight. Her figure slumped and she looked like she was about ready to fall over with exhaustion. "Stupid lizard." she muttered under her breath. Her ears had fallen and she couldn't stand to look at Neron. Her guilt was about to kill her, literally. The edge of the cliff was looking really friendly... She didn't know what to do. She started to get up and see if Neron was okay, but then she knew that it would be the saem as always, Neron would never show her any weakness. She thought of running, but then she hated herself even more for even thinking about it. She slowly started to backstep, just one paw...then another. Maybe this would be best.

Cecily nodded at Eventide. This was true. She knew her friend better than anyone else and she knew one thing. When Eventide took something it was hard to get her little paws off of it. "Especially when that shiny thing is your precious pearl" Cecily blinked at the memory. That had been an interesting time for sure. It had also been the only time she could remember that Eventide actually gave something she had falling "in love" with back. Taking one last look at the fallen figure of Zak she sneered slightly and turned to follow her friend away. The wind whipped her hair about her, which would annoy many but right now all Cecily wasn't to do was turn back to her other form. That is exactly what she did. Her form glowed for a moment then the glow shrunk and took the form of a fox before disappearing. Cecily smiled her toothy grin through her canine teeth. The wind now ruffled her silver fur. Markings of whiter fur wrapped around her feet and face with intricate swirls, like Celtic Knots. Her amber eyes shone at her friend. It was nice to be like the wind, going and coming whenever you pleased. No one ever knew where you were or where you weren't, and Cecily meant to keep it that way. Ruffling her fur she rushed past her friend shooting a challenging glance as she passed. "Just try and catch me you little fluff muffin"
---
Miriel smiled and nodded. "Usually snow doesn't say around me, that is true." Then she couldn't say any more as the snow grew heavier and heavier, gathering about them like a white wave falling from the heavens. It was exhilarating, the feeling of cold on her, it chilled her but she still kept it warm close to her, but just enough to barely melt the snow after it sat on her for a couple of seconds. Then the snow started sticking to her and staying on her clothes, he temperature was down to that of a normal human, for the first time. She looked about her with wonderment at the white. "Wow..." She smiled broadly. Her head turned upward as she tried to see through the white curtain. "Beautiful..."
----
Neron didn't make a sound as the sword sliced through the exact place as before. The feeling of fire returned and the flesh was torn and ripped. The scar tissue that had been forming now found itself reopened. Only his eyes showed the pain that wracked through his body. Fresh blood poured from the wound down his black scaled leg. "Right when I just cleaned myself up..." He sighed deeply. It seemed like this time it actually had done more damage due to the fact that he was already wounded, it just made it worse. Turning his head toward the wound he eyed it and then concentrating on it he let the fire blaze forth in a concentrated stream, it helped cauterize the wound. This didn't mean it didn't hurt, even though dragons were fireproof on the outside they certainly were not underneath. He wasn't paying attention to JAedon at this moment...
---
Ares was furious that his friend had saved him, Neron shouldn't have gotten involved, or something would happen like last time. Ares wasn't going to let that happen. So while Neron was preoccupied with healing his wound Ares's eyes shone forth like a sky on a cloudless day. Jaedon was nearing the edge, perfect. He could knock her off and fly back up, then it would all be over... Rushing forth he did just that. Barreling into her, wings pinned, talons unsheathed. ---
Neron looked up just in time to see Jaedon backing toward the cliff's edge and Ares barreling toward her. " NO!" He called out. But it was to late, Ares was to far gone to stop now. "AISH" He sword under his breath. Putting weight on his hurt leg just sent pain wreathing through him but there was no time to think or do anything but react. Crouching down he braced himself for the lift upward.

Eventide heard Cecily come up behind her at a fast rate. When the white puff flew past Eventide just sighed. Does she not understand that I will beat her every time? They had raced before, and Eventide had won. It wasn't necessarily that she was athletic or anything like that, she was simply, more muscular and larger than Cecily. Eventide decided to play along with her friend though, so she started running, and as she did, her form quickly changed into a large cat with a forked tail. Her purple eyes glittered with amusement, and her sleek fur shone like the sun. It wasn't long before she was running in even stride with Cecily on the soft and plush green grass. They were quickly leaving the cliffs behind. "You're getting faster, I'll grant you that, but you will never beat me." She smiled, her feline features taking on a very mischievous look simply because the smile was there. "And by the way, look who's calling who fluff muffin."
"Well, I suppose it is a good thing that I am around you so much; I'll make sure you have snow any time that you want it. Although..." he paused, his blue/white eyes gazing at her with a hint of irony reflecting in them. He reached up and pushed some snow off her black hair, which made quite the contrast with the pure white snow. "I think you probably look better amongst the sun and its warm surroundings. It is probably a little selfish of me to keep you in the cold for too long." He couldn't help but admit to himself that he like seeing Miriel with snow all over her, but he also liked her just like normal. There was a side of him that wished he could just turn her fire completely off, and another side of him that would die if he couldn't feel her warmth. The truth was that he wouldn't ever change Miriel, no matter what.
Jaedon felt like crying. She didn't know how this had happened. She had thought Neron was gone, that it was just her and Ares. If anyone else had been around she would never have started to fight with him. He had provoked her and then she had done the same to Ares. For once, Neron was a casualty of her hateful actions. Her cold and calculating spirit had shut off to everything that was right and true. Lies, anger, hate...that was all that she knew. But now her heart yearned for something else, but Ares was right... She didn't deserve to be around any of these people. She would be an assassin, scared for the rest of her life, unable to cage her trained instincts. She didn't deserve to have friends like Damion or Miriel, and she surely had no right to yearn for love, especially love from Neron, the man that she had hurt so many times in the past. She continued to reopen his wounds. At the moment that Ares rushed for her Jaedon returned to her human skin, a single tear rolling down from her emerald green eyes that were dull and lifeless. The impact of Ares against her human body caused more than one of her ribs to crack. Then falling...falling for what seemed like forever, and all Jaedon could do was cry. Cry and think of how much she had hurt Neron...This was to be the manner of her death, and it was well deserved. The cold wind stung her as she fell. She had no hope of seeing any life again.

Cecily just smiled at her friend. "That I am, but you my friend, are getting slower.." With that the Cecily beside Eventide disappeared and the true Cecily, about thirty yards ahead appeared. The Cecily beside Eventide had been an illusion. Her paws were flying like the wind, but Cecily also knew that Eventide would catch up soon enough, it was only a matter of time. Eventide might have been faster but Cecily was usually the more devious part of the relationship. Then again Eventide could have her share in that also. It was nice to feel the grass beneath her feet and the wind in her hair. It had been to long since she had allowed herself to be in this form. She preferred to keep her true form a secret because if someone found out who she was they would find out about her pearl and it was only a matter of time before they took it.
---
Miriel smiled at him. "That is my home that I am used to. We have homes in different places. I guess we will have to get used to living in the middle." She smiled as she brushed off some of the snow herself. "Oh I don't mind the snow at all. Though it can be a bit cold. BUt I don't mind it especially when I can do..." Reaching down she gathered it in between her hands. In a flash the snow was compressed into the shape of a ball. Then it wasn't much longer that it was thrown at Damion's face."This" A broad smile curled on her lips as her eyes shone brightly.
----
Ares was pleased to find she didn't fight back, it would be a quick and easy death for her. At least he was that merciful. But what he didn't realize is that his prey was about to be chased after by someone else and stolen.
--
Neron pushed off the ground with an extremely powerful shove. This sent his spiraling into the air, but this also caused his wound to break open once again, and blood splotched on the ground, leaving a trail behind. As soon as he was over the edge his wings were pinned and he focused on his target, the lion with wings. With his jaws open wide and talons outstretched he smashed into Ares, who had just dropped his prey and was about to start heading back. Grasping him firmly in his teeth he tasted a bit of blood which caused his snake eyes to blaze like fire. Biting down a bit more he heard Ares grown slightly, but he didn't let this bother him. Instead they both headed down. It wasn't long before they reached Jaedon. Neron gently held her in his talons. Then his wings outstretched and their decent was slowed. Angling upward the rushing wind leveled him out, but he couldn't help but drag Jaedon through the tops of the water. The pull on his legs and his wings caused him to let out a muffled roar around Ares's fur. Then pressing forward he bit down a bit farther into Ares and struggled upward into the air. IT took a couple of moments and due to the weight he made it to the cliff. Neron made sure to keep away from the edge, no matter how much his aching body wanted to stop there. Gently he set Jaedon down, he didn't know if she was hurt and since she was in her human form he would have to be extra careful. Human bones were so fragile... Then he settled down on all fours. Ares swinging from his mouth. With a flick of his head Ares was sent sliding across the land.
-- Ares got up after his scruff had been pierced with fangs and blood was matting some of the fur. He turned to find Neron standing protectively in front of Jaedon. "What are you doing Neron?!"
"What I must Ares." The answer was seething with anger.
"She is an assasian!"
"As was I."
"No, you were just avenging your parents, you were not an assassin."
"Yes, but I killed many innocent creatures, you cannot over look that Ares. It is time you faced that fact. I am no better than her."
"But -"
"No" Neron interrupted. "No, Ares."
Ares frowned and then setting his teeth he hissed, "I am not on her side Neron, I never will be."
"Then..." Neron's eyes blazed. "You are not on mine."
Then the two clashed, Ares was the first to attack. The fight was fierce and stayed on the ground. In the end Neron ended up winning by throwing Ares away from him. Ares landed in a heap, he was still alive, but his fur was now matted and was a different kind of red. Neron looked at his friend with disappointment. His own form had some scratches and bites, but most of Ares's blows had been deflected by his scales. Yet his shoulder was bleeding more now. His large form stood like a statue on the cliff.

Eventide should have known that Cecily would do something like that. She shook her head and sighed, slightly disappointed in herself. Then she sped up, her powerful leg muscles pushing her in great leaps that covered the distance between her and the fox in no time. When she caught up to Cecily this time she said, "This time I am going to get ahead of you just in case you aren't real either." And so she did, taking the lead, in a blitz, like a runner in sight of the finish line. She decided to get Cecily back for that little trick, and so as she ran, she conjured one of her little fiends. It was a ramshackle creation, thrown together from rotting muscle, sinew, and bones, and she placed it right behind her. Then she used a slight illusion to cover it. She was going to laugh if Cecily ran into it. That pure whiute fur wouldn't be so white anymore.
When Miriel shoved the snow ball in his face Damion scolded himself for not ducking before hand. "Should've known that was coming." he muttered to himself, thoroughly disappointed. He shook his head to clear away to snow that was still on his face and in his hair. Then, faster than he had made it snow, he made a snow ball, packed tightly, and looked at Miriel. "You asked for this you know." He then threw it at Miriel, not to hard, but just right, and it hit her square in the stomach. A bright smile was lit on his face.
Jaedon had not counted on being rescued. She had practically given up. She had closed her eyes and started to drift off, going unconscious. When she felt herself graze the water, she came back to reality. Someone was holding her. Someone had saved her. Had Ares regretted what he had done? No, impossible. He hated Jaedon. Damion was far on the other side of the cliffs with Miriel, so neither of them even knew how close she had just come to dying...The only person left was Neron. She could hardly believe it at first, but then she remembered that it had been Neron that had taken her poison, it was Neron that had always haunted her steps, and it was Neron that had intervened between her and Ares. He had changed, and she liked it. He was kinder now, gentler, and a good friend. He had saved her again, and she had no way to repay him. She felt pain jolting through her side and her head, and this time, she actually just felt it and didn't try to block it from her mind. Doing this caused her to go unconscious again. She didn't wake up until after the fight. She just stared at the heap of Ares and the stony Neron. What had just happened? Surely they hadn't gotten into a fight? Was Ares alright? Why were they fighting? She just stared at Neron with a horrible feeling in the pit of her stomach.

It was obvious that Eventide was catching up and before long she was ahead. Cecily laughed and continued running. It was over and she knew it, but she couldn't help but enjoy the feeling of running. But this enjoyment suddenly came to an abrupt stop when she crashed against the little "present" that her friend hat left her. The smell was terrible and Cecily didn't enjoy the feeling of the rotting flesh on top of her. The impact had been a bit harder than she would have expected and she lay there stunned with her tongue hanging out, very still and her chest not moving up and down for breathing. IT looked like she was unconscious.
Miriel winced as the snowball hit her in the stomach and then with a little laugh she scooped up more and threw another two at him. Then she began running, hoping to dodge some of his. This would be interesting. She didn't know how this was going to work especially since she was playing on his "home court". But she didn't let loosing deter her from trying. Plus playing was fun, things had gotten way to serious lately.
Neron continued to stare at Ares's limp form. Then closing his eyes and bowing his head he switched back to his human form. There he stood, bruises more apparent on this form than his dragon form, head bowed and eyes closed. He held this stance for a moment before he released a big sigh. When his eyes opened an emptiness resided in them. Neron's gaze dropped to his shoulder which was quickly turning his skin a deep angry red color. Shedding his shirt he ripped it up into strips. With practiced hands he wrapped his shoulder tightly and tied the knot with one end in his other hand and one in his mouth. Clenching his hurt hand in protest to the tightness she ran his other through his hair. The other scars on his body were apparent the one twisting down his side and the other on his shoulder. Other scratches and purple colors were scattered across his torso and arms. Turning to Jaedon he let her see his face, where a scratch crossed from his forehead to his cheek. IT wasn't deep and wouldn't leave a scar, but the blood was slightly annoying. Even though he looked at her with softer eyes he had a distant look. "He won't bother you anymore." Neron turned his head to look at Ares one last time. "and if he does..." He left the statement open for her mind to fill in the gap. Then he turned back to her. "Where are you hurt?" His eyes held a no nonsense look to them, he wasn't going to deal with her dodging the truth.
Ares struggled up. Getting on his feet he limped off, passing Neron at a distance. It was obvious that even though Neron didn't face him or glance at him he could sense his old friend's presence because he stiffened slightly. Ares paused and looked at Neron for a long moment, then shifted to Jaedon before looking away in disgust. Ares left the two, one wing dragging on the ground and the other pinned at his side. Every movement hurt but it seemed that Neron was beat up as well, though he didn't show it. Plus most of Neron's wounds were probably mental than anything else. But Ares was pained, as well as pleased, to see scratches and bruises across Neron's exposed body. So those scales had given in some. Then he drug himself off, never looking back.

Eventide looked behind her and saw Cecily crash into her "present" and then she stopped, and ran back to where her friend stood frozen. At first she did her best to suppress her laughter, but then she couldn't help it. She burst out laughing, laughing so hard that she couldn't even stand. She just collapsed on the ground and kept laughing. She was on the brink of starting to roll.
Damion tried to dodge her snowballs, but one of them hit him on the shoulder and the other one flew over his head. He then decided that he would do something unfair. Miriel had started running, so he planned her trajectory and then, placed a big blob of snow over-head, ready to drop it on her once she got there. 1,2,3...perfect... he grinned as he watched a ball of snow about as big as the bottom of a snow man fall on Miriel.
Jaedon was still too stunned for words. Both Neron and Ares...covered in blood? That just didn't make sense. She hadn't hit Ares, and she couldn't think of them fighting, but by the way Ares looked at her and the words that Neron spoke, she knew that they had fought each other, and that it had been because Ares pushed her off the cliff. Jaedon suddenly began to wish that she had just jumped off herself, or that she had taken her sword and stabbed her own heart. It was gut wrenching to watch as Ares walked away and Neron just stiffly let him go.
She looked from Ares to Neron with anger in her eyes. She wasn't angry at them, but rather at herself. She should never have come here...she should never have begun to fight and she should never have been the cause of so much pain. It seemed like that was all she could do. Where are you hurt? The words came to her like a hollow recording. Where had she been hurt? Her heart. Neron couldn't fix that. "My ribs got jostled, but they aren't bad." She knew that at least 3 had broken, but that was less than she had dealt with before. That wasn't the problem right now though. The problem was that Neron had shown her a lot of himself. Jaedon hadn't eaten anything related to meat for months, and she had been keeping herself away from the little woodland animals that she usually ate so that she wouldn't be tempted. Her mind was viciously convincing her that Neron tasted a whole lot better than spinach. She shook her head a few times and tried to get the thought out of her head, but Neron needed to get away from her. She would tear him to pieces simply because she was starved. She tore her gaze away from him staring at the cliff, trying to regain her composure. The grumbling of her stomach was now what hurt most.

Cecily, upon hearing her friend close and her collapsing on the ground. Then suddenly sitting up she tossed some of the rotten flesh at Eventide, covering her as well. Then crawling out from the pile she immediately started to groom her fur. "That was unnecessary." Her eyes glistened, she would get over it as soon as she got her fur spotless again. If one thing bugged her at all it was having dirty clothes and especially dirty fur. Lifting her head she glared at Eventide, "You may stop laughing now." Then bowing her head she continued. Those white designs on her fur seemed brighter with her anger.
Miriel had been to busy running to see if any of her projectiles hit but she did hear the thud of one. She came to an abrupt stop when a pile of snow crashed on her head. Luckily the snow was soft and wasn't packed together, thus it didn't hurt. As soon as all of the snow had fallen she climbed her way out of it and with a big pile of snow on top of her head she wrinkled her nose in distaste, "That isn't fair!!"
Neron looked at Jaedon with narrowed eyes. He didn't believe her. After what he had just done for her he had expected the truth, he thought he had earned that much. Balling what was left of his black shirt up in his hands he glared at her with slitted eyes. "Jostled? Well then I guess you will be fine by yourself since I'm not needed anymore." The shirt was tossed in front of her feet and he turned to walk away. But he paused for a moment. Turning back to her his face was twisted slightly in disappointment and anger. "You know, I would have thought that I would have at least some trust from you now. I just threw away one of my closest relationships besides Miriel and I get this," He motioned to her with his hurt hand. "In return? What was I thinking. It's time you get out of this pity party you are in right now Jaedon. People care about you more than you think. Even when you have hurt the people more than anyone else, they still care about you, more than you would know." His face, which had softened slightly, melted back into his old stoic look as he heard her stomach grumble. "Go, get something to eat why don't you." Then turning he started to walk away.

Eventide found it hard to speak in between her laughter, "That was very necessary. Doubt you'll be tricking me any time soon with your little illusions." She watched as OCD Cecily struggled to clean ehr fur. "You know what is cracking me up right now? The fact that you are even trying to clean yourself. Just go jump in a lake." she kept chuckling as she shook off some of the grunge, but left the remaining specks where they were.
Damion had jogged up to her laughing and grinning like a Cheshire cat. Why hadn't he ever thought to to this before? He was having too much fun. "Unfortunately life isn't usually fair as someone smart once told me. He let out a breath, but no cloud came out, unlike Miriel. Damion's body temperature always stayed low. If it went any higher then it would be painful. Then, Damion had a fun idea. If Miriel thought life wasn't fair now, what would she think if...? Damion paused for a moment and then Gave Miriel a great big shove, pushing her back to the pile that she had just crawled out of. He then looked at her with a big giant smile.
Then second that Neron spoke Jaedon knew he was angry with her. For once, she cared. Blast feelings. Guilt is the worst...And I've always got it. She looked at his shirt that was sitting at her feet. She practically winced at his words, Even when you have hurt the people more than anyone else, they still care about you, more than you would know. She looked away from Neron and down at her side, it was burning like fire was running through it. Neron was leaving, she had really upset him. She knew that he had done something for her that she could never take back or restore. She grabbed her side and felt another tear fall down her cheek. She didn't want to let Neron leave with such a hurtful thing still sitting on him, and her the cause. "I...I..."She stumbled over her words, starting so quietly that you could barely hear it, but then she figured out how to say what she wanted to. "I'm sorry Neron." She wasn't choking it out because she didn't mean it, but because she hardly even knew how to say it. "I'm sorry!I-" She was fixing to lose control. "I always do things that hurt other people and I don't think about others before I act, or how it would hurt them. I don't know what to do when people give me help. I'm selfish and heartless and I just don't care..." She was going into a frenzy. She had never spoken this fast in her life. She suddenly stopped, realizing how much she had been rambling, and then she stopped, ripping the grass with a ferocious annoyance.

Cecily scowled at her friend. "You know, if you hadn't found that thing very precious to me then I don't think you would have lasted around me. But..." Cecily looked up, "I am a rather forgiving creature aren't I?" She scoffed before continuing with her coat. Then with a sigh she gave up a bit and giving her paws a last lick she sighed. "Well if I can't get clean I guess I will have to make this due.." Her form all of a sudden grew clean in a flash. She smirked, "Illusions are wonderful things aren't they?[/b]"
Miriel felt herself being pushed back into the snow and with a squeal she landed in the pile she had just emerged from. Opening her eyes she looked up at his pale figure with a mock grumpy face. "Well, that certainly wasn't fair. " Climbing out she scooped up snow and thrust it at his face once more. Covering her mouth with her hand she giggled lightly into it.
Neron paused when she started speaking to him. He listened and when she started stumbling over her words he turned and strode over to her. Softening his face he reached down and lifted her chin with his index finger. "Well then, perhaps you should start now. You are already on the right path with admitting what you are. Jaedon, you can push through what you are going through, I believe in you." His lips curved into a crooked smile. "So start thinking for once, that way I don't have to be the braniac in our 'relationship' if you could call it that."" He dropped his hand. He smiled down at her for another moment before taking a step back. "Take care of yourself Jaedon, especially those ribs of yours, you keep on breaking them lately. Perhaps you should drink some more milk. I couldn't have my stalker getting hurt now could I?" He let out a deep laugh. "Oh and don't rip the grass, I remember you getting mad at me for ripping pansy's apart, well I must say that grass is very special to me, it has a delicate beauty to it you know, a certain grace." He smirked. "Plus you are killing the earth." His words were dripping with sarcasm. Then his face turned back to what was a true expression, one that was actually caring. "But really, take care of yourself." Then nodding toward her he turned, standing away from her. Running his hand through his hair he started his journey away. He still was close enough to where if she talked he would hear and listen.

Eventide watched as her friend used an illusion to rid herself of the grime. "HEY!!!! That's not fair! That's cheating!" She knew that Cecily wouldn't care, but she said it anyway. "Forgiving is hardly a word to describe you by the way." She smiled wickedly at Cecily. "It isn't important how you survive, just that you survive my love. Precious or not, I still got my paws on it...Survival or not, I still got my paws close enough...You have no room to threaten me because I did indeed survive."
When Miriel shoved the snow back into his face he just laughed and opened his mouth inhaling part of the snow, despite the fact that it had been on the ground. As she giggled he decided that this playfulness needed to get a little more interesting...As she stood there giggling, she probably didn't notice the fact that Damion had created ice that trapped her feet. She was firmly rooted to the spot in an icy grasp, and when that was in place, she made another few balls of snow and after throwing one at her and hitting her shoulder, he said, "Just try and dodge them now. Now you can say I'm not being fair."
Jaedon was glad to see the softer side of Neron return and she knew that she would be seeing that a lot more often. This brought her back to her usual self, and it felt good. She hadn't felt like this since she first met him, when he had been playing the violin. I believe in you... Right after he said that Jaedo's face just dropped to a dull and rather sarcastic face. "What is this group therapy? And if you call what you do on a regular basis thinking, I'd hate to see like without thought. I'd be hell on earth." Then he started getting smart alec with her and she now knew that there was always a reason he backed away from her...it was a sign that his joker was fixing to come out. She really wished she could smack him..."Hate to disappoint but I despise milk. I also think it is very self-serving, this love of the grass...seems very spontaneous to me." She was expecting another sarcastic remark, but then Neron surprised her, something he never ceased to do. Take care of yourself. She actually felt herself blush, and then cursed herself for it. She jumped up quickly and turned away, hoping that Neron hadn't seen the brilliant shade of red cover her cheeks. She then walked away.

Cecily smirked evilly at Eventide, "I know isn't it? It's my specialty." She sighed as Eventide remarked on forgiving. "I know, elegant, beautiful, and charming are much better words..." She let out a dramatic sigh, "But I suppose forgiving will have to do." She smiled at Eventide before walking off. " You survived, but barely...." She chuckled. "barely."
Miriel looked at him with a shocked expression then raising an eyebrow she sighed. "No, that's not fair, but don't worry I will make it a bit more fair." With that he body temperature rose until the ice was just a puddle on the ground. "You will have to try harder then that to keep me put."
Neron paused and turned his head to respond. He chose to ignore her group therapy session remark though. Calling out so she could hear him he answered her. "Well perhaps you should learn to like milk, as for my love of grass... Obviously would couldn't decipher my sarcasm. I hate to tell you this but, you probably know, sarcasm is the body's natural defense against stupid. WE can both see where this leaves you..." Then turning he walked off, not caring what she said or did and in doing so he totally missed her blush, good thing for her.

Eventide watched her friend leave. "I like to think of you as eclectic and moody. You always give me a good laugh though, whenever turning down retarded beaus like Zak here. It brings joy to my life." She sighed and rose. "Time to go back to being a good girl now. So troublesome. See ya around Cecily. Be good."
He watched as Miriel melted the ice. Then she gave him a challenge, one that he just couldn't turn down. "Fine. I'm going to win this after all." He closed the distance between himself and Miriel, wrapped an arm around her waist very quickly and pressed his lips against hers. When he pulled away he smiled and said, "How is this for keeping you put?"
Jaedon really wanted to just smack Neron, but she decided that whatever she said would be for the winds ears alone. "Stupid, half-brained, scaly little lizard. If I am stupid it's consoling to know I'm not a complete and total jerk. Natural defense against stupid...yeah, natural defense only when it serves you. Intelligence has nothing to do with it." She continued muttering as she walked off towards the way she had come from on her run...She had to run all of the way back, but her ribs hurt, so she decided to just walk and enjoy the long and scenic trip back. She just hoped the weather didn't drastically change its mind during that period of time.
