Her name described her appearance well. Like dusk coming over the world, she has a dark appearance, but also, there is light in her. Her hair is black, but has strange highlights. Amidst the pitch black, stick straight shoulder length hair, is bright blonde, shining brown, and completely scarlet highlighted streaks. As interesting as this is, it is by no means her own choice, it is completely natural.

Her appearance only grows more strange from there. She is petite, about 5'3'', with pale skin. She has a rather foreign look to her, rather Asian, with high cheekbones. Her eyes are the strangest part of her. One of few, she has a genetic disorder called "Alexandria's Genesis", which affects the color of her eyes. They are bright purple, much like stones.

Eventide's pelt is dark grey with black and brown flecks on her underside. Her fur shines in the light of the moon with incredible luster. She is larger than most Nekomata's, a long body, long legs, and a long tail. When she stands upright she is only about 4 feet tall. Her eyes turn dark crimson red when she is in this form as their natural, when she uses magic they change to brilliant, glowing, almost neon, green with a ring of red separating her pupil from the green.

She always has a sort of glowing appearance, like her magic is bursting out all around her in the form of a slightly glowing haze. If she is using her magic, then the haze is green, if not then it returns to its normal red. The only time that it is purple is when she wants to play. She would strike you as a slightly glowing(just enough to play tricks with your eyes), cute and wide eyed kitty cat with a forked tail.

Eventide is not in control of herself at all, and she really isn't in control of her skin. She was never really taught exactly how to keep her skin on for long durations of time, and her magic is highly unstable. She has learned much about it on her own and her studies show that merely hearing too much noise can cause her skin to fall away, seeing too many bright things can cause her to change, or even just exerting herself for too long will cause her to change. She learned much from a previous teacher about how to control herself, but she often comes teetering on the edge of her skin failing if she is forgetful.

Ever since she was a child Eventide has been very quiet. She loves to talk to people, but she knows that talking gets her in trouble. She is sweet and caring, loving to help in whatever way she possibly can. She hates it when people get angry, and won't ever get angry unless you do something really, REALLY bad. She is gentle and frail, and she would at first strike you as a precious thing that would break if dropped, but a strength does rest within her that she will show if provoked to. She is very carefree around friends because she knows that she doesn't have to worry about them judging her wrong. Around strangers she becomes uncomfortable and timid, she would rather just stand by quietly and watch, but there are times when she would enter into the situation. But this is only in her human skin.

When Eventide is in her Nekomata form her personality changes. She is slightly friendly still. If her eyes and aura are purple, she is a little more playful and teasing, but she really only does this with close friends. Most strangers meet her other side... The darker side. Her darker personality has a strange longing for treachery. She will create illusions and trap you there while she finds interesting things in your pockets to entertain herself with. If she doesn't start playing in your pockets, then you really should be worried. Eventide might appear to you in an illusion as a beautiful blonde angel wanting to grant all your dreams when really, she might want to put you under one of her spells, stealing your soul for her own bidding... she'd have to kill you first, of course. A queen of deception and a lover of mischief, she will steal everything from you without you even knowing. She shows this personality with those that cause her to struggle with her skin. She has an alter ego.

Eventide was born in Korea, to Korean parents who died not long after she was born. She was adopted by a family that loved her until they discovered that she was a mythical creature, which was about the time that the adoption was final. They hated their new daughter and treated her very cruelly. They made Eventide into a real-life Cinderella, but they would hurt her if she did something that they thought wrong. She grew up being called Demon, Devil, and other horrid names. But, also like Cinderella, she learned to have gentle spirit, and anger found itself no longer welcome in her soul.

When she was around the age of 14, she was in school when her teacher found out how her current family was treating her. They filed a cruelty report, and Eventide gained a new home with kinder parents that loved her. When they discovered that she was a mythical creature they researched ways that she could learn how to be better, finally deciding on one. For one year she studied with a man that was much like her, and he trained her how to use her powers in ways that she had not already discovered. She quickly mastered everything that he taught her and grew even more on her own as she studied hard. Her mentor however could not help her for longer than a year because when the summer came, he passed away. Her parents then sent Eventide to Aravis in the hopes for her having a better life.
