Ji has black hair that goes just past his shoulders. he has a somewhat yellow-peachy tint to his skin. he stands 6ft exactly with a sturdy build. his body is well muscled but is more wiry in structure. he has warm brown-black eyes that seem to hold a passive nature. his face is somewhat round and holds a peaceful expression most of the time. he tends to dress in reds and golds and wears traditional Chinese martial arts robes.

Jia-Li has straight, long black hair that reaches the back of her knees. She is much paler than her twin. she stands 5ft 5in, with a very defined hour glass figure. she has an extremely childish face but never let that throw you off, as she can be quite cold. her eyes are a gray-brown color framed by full-curled lashes. she loves to wear pink and is always seen in a Chinese dress, heels, and carrying a fan in her hand.

Ji is a bit more muscular than Jia-Li with a red body and golden mane. he is slightly bigger than an African lion and his claws are like hunting knives. his eyes are a startling golden sun color that can calm even the most violent of hearts if you stare into them for too long. he is extremely calm in this form and acts with reason, as he is not fond of fighting.

Jia-Li is slimmer than Ji in this form with a Golden body and Red mane. she is the size of an African lion and has claws as big as daggers. her eyes are a sliver color, like that of the moon that seems to make one angry if you stare into them for too long. she his highly aggressive in this form, taking any reason she can find to fight.
When she is stone she sits with her head tilted up towards the sky and an angry snarl on her face.

Ji is sweet, cunning, and has a strong sense of reason. He is very friendly and and gives off a somewhat calming energy with his gentle eyes and smile. it is very difficult to make him angry and he never likes seeing people upset or injured. he is a bit on the clumsy in his human form and has a thing for cooking for anyone.

Jia-Li, on the other hand, may look sweet as a cupcake, but is as mean as a pit viper. she has a very short temper, and she tends to bring out the worst in others. Her gaze seems cold, but that doesn't stop poor guys from trying to court her. she is extremely vain and only cares about herself. She is kind to her brother, but it doesn't seem like it when you watch them interact.

Character Biography:

Jia-Li and Ji were the guardians of an old Chinese temple in the mountains. They seemed to represent the sun and moon and watched over the village that surrounded the temple. Ji was looked to for good health and peace while Jia-Li was looked to for winning of battles and to end feuds. 299 years of watching the little village and temple it remained unharmed until it was plagued with a strange illness sent by an emperor with a dark heart. when the strongest of the men were struck with this disease the emperor's men invaded the quiet town and burned it to the ground. The twins tried their best to stop the men from reaching the temple but there were too many of them and they were captured. both wept as they watched their temple crumble to the ground and the monks be slaughtered. when brought to the emperor as gifts of a successful battle, they remained as stone until nightfall, Jia-Li killed the wicked man in his sleep, and after both fled as far as they could until they hid away on a boat in human form. it ended up bringing them to an Island filled with creatures they had never seen before. both decided it would be best to stay as they had no other temple to go. they have lived among the islands for a year now and do not plan to leave anytime soon.
