Unlike his younger sister Zuri whose "non-mythic" form is a tame kitten, Zayn's form is a liger, a large halfbreed of male lion and female tiger origin. As such, he was much more suited to the harsh Russian climate. His body is light orangish brown with striped darker than his body striping along him. In general he looks no different than how a normal lion-tiger hybrid would, save for the fact that no matter what form he takes his eyes are mismatched. The left eye will always be calm, clear blue, and the other was violent, raging red.

Zayn has a boyish maturity that makes him seem younger than he is, but still older than he appears. However, that is to be expected since even though he is, technically, only 10, physically and mentally he is 24. His red eye is not a result of contact lenses or anything, and is in fact natural... or unnatural as it were. The Nightmare can look kind enough, but he once his interest is piqued he gets a gleam in his eye that makes blood turn to ice.

Unlike his eyes, his hair is not naturally blue, but actually dyed that color, something he did on a whim after being woken up. Naturally his hair is a dark shade of red that resembles brown. The skin is soft and fair, and his clothes make you think he was just recently discharged from the army.

If you ever get close enough, you can see that there is something apparently written on his eye. These are the chinese numbers from one to six.

On top of that he is 5'11, which is pretty average for a boy, despite the fact that this means he's only 4 inches taller than his younger sister whom he predates by 6 years.

Zayn has an innate fascination with things that he'd never seened before. And even things that he has seen before fascinate him. He is fascinated by things as simple as a dust particle floating milimeters from his nose all the way to things as complex as the effects of common mind-numbing agents on various avian life-forms on far-reaching quasers where oxygen intake is null. Of course, this fascination vents on to people as well.

People and animals are fun. Just when you thought you understood a person, whammo! They've suddenly done something you thought they couldn't and you're driven to reprocess their specimen from another angle, trying to find the variable you missed. That is fun. His fascination with humans ranges from a pure, almost childish curiousity to a corrupt, skin-crawling perversion. There's nothing specific that makes this change happen... it all depends on his mood.

One eye being red is some sort of symbolism, you could say. For one thing, he can be as calm and peaceful as a small kitten one moment and as angry and violent as a bull-elephant on steriods the next. He is lapsed between intelligence and instinct, and when they're layered perfectly--which is rare--he reaches a state of complete peace where he analyzes things around him from every angle at once, in a moment of complete and total enlightenment. This may last from a moment to an hour.

+Oneirokinesis--The ability to alter dreams.
+Project himself: Appear to be somewhere he really isn’t, and do things as though he was physically there like eat, sleep, and fight.
+Necromancy
+Magic Dampening: Weakening a spell's power so it does very little/no damage.
+Rapid Cellular Regeneration and Healing
+Phasing, though he cannout phase through dimensions or planes, only solid objects. On top of that he can take refuge in a human body and control them while they sleep.
+Elemental powers over fire and earth, and water to an extent in the arctic wilderness he was born and raised in.
+Six States of Existence

State 1--Nakara: Allows him to create "real" illusions (like appearing before someone when he's miles away and fighting with them); a form of reality-warping on top of being able to create mental illusions.

State 2--Preta: Allows him to use the skills of others like Zuri can, but without the need of bodily contact.

State 3--Beasts: Allows him to summon and control deadly animals, like Zuri's empathy link being taken a step farther.

State 4--Asura: Grants him increased battle abilities, signified by a glowing effect around his red (right) eye.

State 5--Human: Grants him increased strength, speed, and agility. He's surrounded by a black, poisonous-looking aura that represents his fighting spirit.

State 6--Deva: Grants him the power to possess and control others, but only while passed out or asleep, in a state where they could not control themselves anyway.

+Kinetic Absorbtion--taking a blow and converting it into another form of energy
+Gyro Blasts--created after absorbing some kinetic energy. It isn't so much energy as much as 100 tons of metal slamming into your body as Mach speeds
+Puppetry--Exactly what it sounds like, invisible strings that he can use to manipulate people like a puppeteer. They can be broken, but you have to figure out where they are first....
+Sleep Song--a soft chant that can put people to sleep.
+Acid Blood
+Umbrakinesis--the ability to shroud areas in complete and utter darkness. Not like turning off the lights, but literally sucking it away, like a black hole without in immenant danger.
+Virgogenesis--the ability to create toxic gases of any type. He can also breathe out any gas he has breathed in, since his lungs can adapt to different situations--such as being in a room full of noxious gas or being underwater.
+Flight, but only because if the enchanted state of his trident, which levitates, returns to him if thrown, and rejects others if they try to use it.
+Impression--allows him to make people think what he wants them to think, and believe what he wants them to believe
+Peptokinesis--turn something acidic basic, or something basic acidic, make either a base or an acid neutral and nondangerous, or something neutral like water into something acidic or basic.
+Molecular Combustion--make a big explosion by speeding up atoms.
-Cannot stand high pitched noises, such as something from a dog whistle or other sound a human cannot hear.
-You cannot hurt Zuri. Only Zayn can hurt Zuri.
-If he sees something that interests him he will abandon you to go pursue it.
