Her structure is that of an Asian girl, specifically a girl originating from Japan. She has straight, silky, black hair running down to her mid-back. Long bangs pass the sides of her face covering a small portion of her eyes. She has fair, light skin, with blue eyes that gleam shyly. She stands at an average 5.5 feet tall. She always wears a silver heart locket around her neck (symbolizes something important to her).

Her feathers are a blend of yellow, orange, and red with a purple tint outlining her features. She is bright but not blinding and her eyes flame a gentle orange. Her stature grows 4 inches though who could really tell anyway? Her beak holds a sharp curve and shines a golden color. Once aflame, her talons seem to hide behind the fire emitting from her body.

Kiyoko is really timid, quiet, and she keeps to herself. She blushes most of the time, doesn’t speak unless spoken to, and even then she barely does when spoken to by someone new. Although shy, she is sweet, kind, and pretty decent with academics, until dealing with math. She is quite clumsy, which makes gym her worst, and most painful subject. opens up pretty quickly when she befriends someone and gets to know them better (which can be a slow process). Only around her friends is she more comfortable somewhat exposing a happier, hyper, more outgoing Kiyoko Tenshi.

At the age of 7, Kiyoko's parents died from an incurable disease taking their life in what seem like an instant. Areyna and her older brother, Kaori, were taken away to an orphanage because they were unwanted by any of their relatives. Living together with her brother for half a year, he was adopted first. The family wanted only him tearing Areyna and Kaori apart. She fell into a pit of pure despair, her only family, her only true family gone. After another three months of painfully getting through the days, Areyna was adopted by a family in America. She kept quiet to them but after a while opened up to their kindness, accepted her fate and lived life with a smile. Her days grew more pleasant and what seemed like an everlasting despair began to fade. She only wished and prayed her brother too shared the same good fortune as she. Yet, her happy ending was put to a halt when she discovered, while walking home one day, her new family dead for reasons she did not know and to this day remains a horrible mystery. Torn apart, she was cluless as to what to do or where to go, she just resided in the home of her second dead family. After seeing the inerasable damage, Areyna's benevolent neighbors took her in for a little while until she grew mentally stable. Here she is now, that insecure girl hiding that reality, that tragedy, wanting to forget, replacing the memory with a smile and with kindness as if all life was swell. She never wants to remember those times, she refuses too. She surrounds herself with friends and school and whatever else she can think of only to forget...
