Black hair like the darkest night flows down her back like a stream, rippling and shining with every movement. Usually the soft strands are pulled up in a loose pony tail or some sort of up-do, during class, but as soon as the classes are over the long tresses are released of their bond until they ripple down to a more natural placement.
Miriel's eyes almost seem like deep green pools as they gaze at you, looking almost as black as her hair. Their almond shape rimmed with thick black lashes add a sophisticated, elegant look. As they flick your way there seems to be a fire deep within that burns through those deep colors and seem to light those dark depths with a glints as hot as a star.
Light skin is accented by the darkness of her other features mentioned. In fact they all seem to compliment and contrast each other nicely as all things light and dark do. A slight flushing to her cheek seems to make her whole face glow brightly with an innocence that is most attractive.
If anger should show on her features it would be seen by a slight cocking of her hips, with one of her slender hands resting on it. Her eyes would squint darkly, eyebrows drawn together creating furrows on her forehead, and her lips set in a stubborn straight line. That soft pink would turn into a flaming red that would seem to set her eyes a blaze with a deep fury, yet strangely also a hint of fear. Something that is created by the knowledge of what passion and a temper can reveal.
Though some may call her tall, she really is just a little above average, not towering high above everyone else, yet not shrinking below either. Every step she takes is light and gentle, yet has a strength and power behind it that gives her a unique stride.
Yet even though these qualities may seem perfect, she isn't the type of beauty that stands out like a light in a dark room, but instead is something that seems nothing above average until she leaves the room. Then what your mind reminds you and what suddenly seems missing in the rooms makes her beauty and presence all the more wanted. Yet it takes someone who cares to notice these things, and to most she is just another average girl in a classroom.

Flames as bright as the setting sun illuminates any room as a fiery figure takes flight. The shape of a graceful bird is Miriel's true figure. Every tongue of flame creates feathers which cover her. Yet her form isn't as clean cut as humans or other creatures. For fire cannot have a clean shape but prefers to dance and move as it creates a hazy and soft figure. Only the edges and the longer "feathers" give her the discernible appearance of the mythical bird told of in the myths of ancient times. Her tail feathers are very colorful, changing colors from red, to orange, to blue, to white, and even little hints of green.

Whenever a quick change of feelings or passions cause her to loose her "skin" Yet also anger is probably one of her worst enemies when it comes to her identity; for if you make her truly made she would love to fight back in her true form. One of her other ones is if a friend betrays her or if her friend is hurt by someone. These cause her to loose her care for being under disguise.But mainly anger, sadness or pain.

Personality

Though first when you meet her Miriel is friendly and kind, thinking of others before herself. Yet as you get to know her more you find a deeper mischievous and reflective side on her. Usually this reflective side is tied to plotting out things or when people ask her about something serious. Yet, with this said, she has a very impulsive side. If someone flicks something at her or teases her she can fly into a sudden rage. She hates this side of her for she finds emotions very unruly and uncontrollable.
Loyalty is something that means the most to her, betray or misuse this and she will have a hard time trusting you again. One may say, “That once her good opinion is lost it is lost forever”. Many people will find her extremely loyal to them and they can always rely on her being there for them. Miriel also isn’t one to go back on her word, though if she does she only does it for your own good.
Usually she is perky and energetic, loving sports and any activity, but she hates math. It is her weak point to be sure.

* Flying (almost inexhaustible)
*Healing She can heal herself but this does have limitations, it drains a lot of her power , especially if it is a bigger wound and it takes a while to fully complete. After healing she is really tired, and can’t really do anything but sleep. She can also heal others, though this takes even more energy from her than just healing herself. Also as she heals them she feels the pain that they do for a minute after she heals them, so this makes this highly undesirable and something she would only do for her closest friends. She chooses not yo reveal to much about her past. Though it is known that she has no living relatives to speak for her. She doesn't like talking about her past to much. Though coming to the academy has given her more security, strength, and control then before.
