Sam's a bit taller than average with perfect, tanned skin. Her hair is medium length and dark brown hair with lighter brown highlights which is much longer in the front than in the back. Her eyes are a light brown, and she usually accentuates them with eyeshadow. However, that's as much makeup as she'll ever wear. She doesn't smile very often, and when she does it's usually very condescending.

While she isn't particularly threatening, she certainly isn't dainty either. The eight-legged mare has black fur with a mane and tale that are the same shade of brown as her hair in her human form. Her eyes are a pupil-less, piercing red. She doesn't appear very strong in her true form and, well, she isn't. Her power comes from her speed.

Sam is very strict and unyielding when it comes to anything involving laws and rules. She can act like a bit of a vigilante, and if she catches you breaking the rules she has no qualms about turning you in or even forcing you to obey the laws herself. Sam is a very somber person, who takes her studying and training very seriously. Because of this, she has little time for anything else. The word “fun” isn't even in her vocabulary. She also has a bit of a short-temper, and if someone's annoying her, she'll either snap at them or change forms and try to scare them off. Of course, if you can get past her course exterior and actually manage to make friends with her, you'll see that she's really a pretty nice girl who's fiercely loyal to her friends and will defend them to the death. If it's within reason, that is. She'd never willingly break the rules.
