Even for a child, Czar has a very innocent, unassuming form. Czar inherited his mother's blue eyes, as well as the light-colored hair. He does his best to keep his hair covering his eyes, if only slightly. It could be that it makes him feel as if he really is invisible. On the rare occasions that he can be caught smiling, that confident, charming smile totally comes from his father.

Czar's other form is very bizarre, resulting from the strange combination of Barguest and alien genes. He has a slender body, though the Barguest manifests itself in his muscular build. The Nocturne part of him is apparent in his beak-like muzzle, peculiar hooked claws, long, powerful tail and also his dark, red eyes, that are just like his father's. His fur is a dark brown like his mother's, though the fur along his neck and back is white.

In contrast to his twin sister, Circe, Czar is very quiet and reserved, rarely speaking unless spoken to and even then he doesn't normally give more than 1 or 2 word responses. That's not to say that he's incapable of holding conversations. He's actually able to have rather deep and meaningful conversations - as deep and meaningful as a child can get - though he rarely has these with anyone but Circe or his "friends".

Czar also detests physical contact of any kind and will go momentarily insane at the slightest touch, whether it be from a stranger or from his family. The only one he ever really allows to get close to him is his sister. Aside from her, he doesn't care for people in general, and even views his "parents" the same way he would a random stranger: they're strange, scheming, and not to be trusted. In his mind, everyone is out to get him for one reason or another. It goes without saying, then, that Czar dislikes crowds and if he were in the middle of one he'd be basically paralyzed with fear.

Oftentimes, Czar can be found by himself, speaking aloud as if he were talking to someone, though when asked who he was talking to, his only response would be "My friends." These friends of his do nothing but add to his general loathing of humanity, but that's okay. Aside from Circe, his friends are the only ones he really trusts and that's all he really needs. Because of them, he can also become strangely obsessive over things. For example, he could spend hours rearranging all the rocks in the garden so that they were in order from biggest to smallest, with no explanation for why he does that other than "his friends" likes it better that way. Naturally, he'd do just about anything that his friends ask of him.

+ Can go without eating for months at a time.

+ Can basically teleport self and others via speed travel through the Shadow Plane (see bio).
+ Can't really become invisible, but he can make himself and others virtually unseen by shifting onto the Shadow Plane.
+ Can reach otherwise unreachable destinations by entering the Shadow Plane. For example, he can slip under a barred door or walk under the water.
+ Can send other people and objects into the Shadow Plane.
+ Can control the Nocturnni to do his bidding (see bio).
+ Can use his "shadow powers" to enter a creature's mind and look through their thoughts and memories.
+ While in a creature's mind, he has a great ability of persuasion.
Is able to inflict a sort of mental torture once he's inside a creature's mind.
+ Spatial Manipulation. That is, if he were to throw a rock, he'd be able to direct it to land wherever he wanted.
+ Telepathic link with Circe.

Czar, as well as Circe, are the result of a very hot one-night stand between Toka and Hendrix. Toka cares for the children, Hendrix having claimed that he wanted nothing to do with them. At present, they do not know about their real father, but hey, it can only be a matter of time.

Just like his father, Czar has the ability to shift onto another “shadow” plane which leaves him virtually invisible on the main plane, giving him the appearance of nothing more than a shadow upon the ground. While on the main plane, he also has a strange power over the shadows, and is able to control and manipulate them. For example, he can create shadowy tendrils that raise from the ground and attack his victims. However, because they are mere shadows, they won't inflict physical pain, though they can cause mental torture. He is also able to summon small creatures born from the shadows called Nocturnni. Each stands about a foot tall and looks a lot like miniature Nocturne. These creatures are incapable of abstract thought and instead will simply follow the orders of the Nocturne who summoned them.

Aside from his powers, Czar also inherited his father's mental condition if that wasn't already obvious.
