Human Appearance: Gray : Ivory : Silver - Ion / Ian

Ion can take on many human appearances but it has a favorite two, only deviating from those forms when the need to be incognito arises. It is usually only hair, eye, and skin color that she changes when trying to blend in, but when trying to hide completely, she might take on a mirror image of a random person that she passes.

Female: Ion's female form is that of a girl of sixteen. She is five feet six inches tall and weighs about one hundred pounds. She has short silvery gray hair and only slightly darker gray eyes. She has a flawless and fair complexion. Ion wears clothes that are made of a mixture of metal, leather, and cloth all in black white and gray.

Male: Ian is quite a bit taller in this form. He is around six feet and one inch tall. He also weighs twice that of Ian. He has the same colored hair, eyes, and complexion. He wears a leather hooded jacket with metal bits and chains embedded throughout his clothing.

Ion prefers having a physical form, but when that breaks down or she is unable to be within it, she looks like a ball of flaming light with an approximate diameter of nine to twelve inches depending on her outer flames. Her inner core burns white hot being the size of a large softball, which is surrounded in a thin layer of cobalt blue, which is, in turn, engulfed in emerald flames. Sometimes there are glimmers of smaller balls of green fire around her, but each of those is just a small part of herself. She can take a plethora of non human forms in addition to her true and human forms. Those forms must be no more than 2 times the mass of her male human form and no smaller than 1/3 the mass of her female human form. She can take on the form of anything that she has seen before, as well as mix and match between them. If she attempts to actually create something she has not seen in the flesh, it quickly falls apart and separates from the rest of her physical body, and will need to be gathered back up and shaped into a usable body part..

If a strong current of electricity passes through Ion's body, she can not hold together the molecules properly and she reverts back into a puddle of primordial soup for a few minutes until she can gather and restructure her body. Fire can sometimes make her flee her physical body. An exorcism can also force her out of her physical body.

Ion is extremely shy, and will avoid confrontation when she is able to. When she isn't though, she become like a badger in a corner and can be quite vicious . When she is actually in a corner though, it becomes much worse. She will do her utmost to not just kill, but destroy her assailants. She has, up until now, only been surrounded by death and scavengers, so she wouldn't know what to do with a friend, or even an ally if one fell out of the sky and into it's lap.

+ Molecular Substitution: Ion has the ability to take parts from non living matter to use in creating her physical body. She can not hold together any more than 2 times the mass of a human body nor does she like to cramp herself within something that has less than 1/3 the mass of a human. (she can also use this to heal her physical body)
+ Molecular Alteration: Ion is able to change the molecules that make up her body and alter then into other types of molecules such as those that make flesh into steel, rock or even mist, but her total Mass stays at a near constant as stated above.
+ Molecular Integration: Ion can meld her physical body with that of another object either to hide or pass through it, but ultimately leaves that object unchanged when she leaves it.
- Molecular Destruction: Ion must, from time to time, break down the bonds that holds molecules together to give herself energy which also gives a sense of purpose and self. She usually only uses this on corpses or things that are in the process of breaking down already (such as fallen trees and things that are dying or being destroyed anyway)
- Electricity and Fire: Ion's body breaks apart when an electrical charge goes through it, leaving her very vulnerable to any spiritual or religious magic. Ion has acute Pyrophobia, and can not stand even the sight of true flames (Not including her own >.>). If the only way to avoid being in the vicinity of flames or fire, she will shed her physical body to flee.
- Spiritual/Religious Magic: Ion is somewhat protected from spiritual magic when in a physical body if compared to when she is not. But, Ion can be thrust out of her physical body by the means of any religion's exorcism or spirit banishing ritual.
- All of Ion's abilities only work on non sentient objects such as rocks, walls, carcasses, the ground, and plant life (so long as it has no will or a very weak will of it's own.)

Ion was created in a battleground between the humans and supernatural. It was not by design, nor was there some divine plan that went into her making... Whenever there is a death, something (even if minuscule) is left behind. A slight portion of the one who is killed imprints it's self upon the area. After enough such deaths, those imprints are nearly palpable, and eventually they gained a sense of self. It was Ion. The diversity of those slain did not give a rigid form for this presence nor did it give any abilities that were inherent to those killed to the being that was given life through their deaths. Instead The only ability that this creature has is the ability to gather in components for it's own body, change the nature of it's self and feed on death.

Ion spent what seemed like an eternity in the place of her birth, going from day to day consuming the corpses around her, memorizing each of the forms of the creatures that she consumed, so she might be able to create herself. The last corpse that she broke down into a puddle of viscous liquid, was that of a young girl. She had found the form she was looking for, something that wouldn't stand out as much if surrounded, something that could keep her hidden more easily. Her temporary body, that of a wolf were beast, flowed and sagged, moving like water running downhill, until she was an exact replica of what the corpse used to look like before she broke down the bonds that had held it together. It was then she had plucked up enough courage to finally leave the valley of death that she had been created in.
